SUPANOVA

  I will be exhibiting at Supanova Sydney, Australia’s best known comics and pop culture show on June 26th-28th at the Melbourne Indie Scum table (booth c1).    I will have all kinds of cool stuff for sale: Blackglass Press comics, including KAGEMONO, some of JMarc’s 3RD BLADE minicomics, SIXSMITHS ashcans containing a chapter fop the GN that will not be published on the website.  I’ll also have a big pile of MCBLACK pages for all you eager motherfuckers to look at.  I’m sharing the space with the incorrigible Matt “Guzumo” Emery and the even-less-corrigible Brendan “Black Heart” Halyday.  If you’re in town come by and say hello! Look for me under the Blackglass...

THE SIXSMITHS

Free Comicbook Day @ Kinokuniya in Sydney

Free Comic Book Day is coming up Saturday, the 2nd of May. On that day you can find me at Kinokuniya, Sydney’s book/comic/foreign language emporium. Level 2, The Galeries Victoria, 500 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000 Australia 02-9262-7996 In addition to the usual Blackglass books I will be promoting THE SIXSMITHS, a new graphic novel and webcomic that I have been working on with frequent collaborator J.Marc Schmidt, with a 16 page minicomic. Badass Faeries 2 EPPIE Award Winner

Marietta Publishing and editors Danielle Ackley-McPhail, L. Jagi Lamplighter, Lee C. Hillman, and Jeffrey Lyman are proud to announce that Bad-Ass Faeries 2: Just Plain Bad has been awarded the 2009 EPPIE Award for Best Anthology. Presented this night at the 2009 EPICon in Las Vegas, the award recognizes excellence in electronic publishing.
